What is Kandidat?
Kandidat is a SaaS service that automates your job search in Switzerland and Europe. Our AI analyzes your CV, finds matching positions, generates personalized documents (tailored CV + cover letter), and the Chrome extension automatically fills application forms on major ATS platforms.
How does it work in practice?
1) You create your profile via an AI chat. 2) You upload your CV. 3) The AI searches for jobs and generates your documents. 4) You install the Chrome extension and navigate to application pages — the extension fills the form for you.
Which search platforms are supported?
jobs.ch (the largest Swiss platform), Google Jobs (global aggregator), Indeed Switzerland, and Jobup.ch (French-speaking Switzerland platform).
Is this legal?
Yes. The extension works in your browser — you are the one applying. Kandidat simply pre-fills forms with your data — exactly like a classic autofill, but smarter.

Which ATS are supported?
Workday (UBS, Nestlé, Roche, Novartis...), Greenhouse (tech startups), Lever, and SmartRecruiters. We regularly add new platforms.
Can the extension apply on its own?
You have the choice: semi-auto mode (the extension fills, you review and click Send) or auto mode (direct submission). Semi-auto mode is recommended to verify everything.
What does the extension do with open questions?
When the form contains open questions ('Why this role?', 'Salary expectations?'...), the extension sends the question to our AI which generates a contextual answer based on your profile and the role. You can edit the answer before submitting.
Does the extension read my other web pages?
No. The extension only accesses application pages of the 4 supported ATS. It reads no other pages, collects no browsing history, and only activates on declared domains.

Can I try for free?
Yes, registration is free. You can complete AI onboarding, upload your CV and see found positions. Automatic applications require a paid plan (from 19 CHF/month).
Can I change plans?
Yes, at any time from your dashboard. The change is immediate, prorated for the current month.
How does the quota work?
Each plan has a number of applications per month (5, 50, or unlimited). The counter resets on the 1st of each month. You receive an alert at 80%.
Which payment methods?
Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX) via Stripe. Billed in CHF. For the Enterprise plan, custom invoicing is available.

Where is my data stored?
In the European Union (Supabase EU-West). Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
Is my CV used for AI training?
No. We use Anthropic's Claude API, whose policy guarantees that data sent via the API is not used for model training.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, at any time from your settings or by contacting privacy@kandidat.ai. Deletion is effective within 48 hours.
Is the extension secure?
The extension uses Manifest V3 (Chrome's latest security standard), loads no remote code, and only requests strictly necessary permissions.
